Look UP!!!

Look Up!
"Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.
He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
During the night the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven."

Looking at the scenario in the book of Daniel,
"The CEO (King) must be mean to ask mere employees to proffer solutions to a problem caused by poor management." Some might have commented.

“Government is clearly insensitive and self serving?
"Why should he punish brilliant economists and Ivy League intellectuals for his errors? " The press would have reported.
"God will punish him!" most people would have retorted not recognizing that it was an opportunity created by God for salvation.

Daniel and his friends seized the moment (chapter 2). They didn't whine, rather they lifted up their heads to the mountain top and received help from God. They saved themselves and a whole generation from being wasted. They cooperated with God to create a new order from the threshold of chaos.
 
Dear friend it will take divine revelation to prosper in this time of crisis and darkness. It takes wisdom and revelation to buy without money. (Isaiah 55:1 says “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without  money and without  price.)
 
It is possible to live above recession and famine; It is possible to do great exploits. (There was a famine in the land,… Then the Lord appeared to him and said… Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you;… Then Isaac sowed (deployed his skills) in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. - Genesis 26:1-12 paraphrased)

By living in continuous communion with the Holy Spirit and taking everything to God in prayer, all things are possible.
